sparkived: 

  Each datasheet is stored as an archive (decompressible 
  with !Sparkplug, which can be built by running dearchive (stored 
  in pub/riscos/releases) containing text files and Draw files.)

plain:

  Each datasheet is stored in a directory as plaintext. Inside the
  individual directories are subdirectories containing GIF renderings
  of the Draw files. (for all users out there running xv!)

This has been done by popular request; any further reasonable 
suggestions, keep me (customer.services@acorn.co.uk) posted!
